Qualifying Subjects For Admission - College of Agriculture
To obtain an admission to the college of Agriculture in Rumbek University of Science and Technology, for undergraduate studies, you must have done the following subjects at secondary school level passing at least Seven (7) subjects with above 55% or equivalent.

Optional Subjects
Computer Science, Agriculture, Arabic Language, French Language

Mr. Samuel Malou Mukpiou
Dean of the College of Agriculture
Samuel Malou Mukpuou is an Agricultural Engineer with first-class degrees; Master of Technology in Irrigation Water Management from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India, and a bachelor (honors) in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Juba, South Sudan. He joined Rumbek University as Teaching Assistant in 2016 and was later on promoted to the position of lecturer in 2018 after completing his master’s degree. Samuel has rich experience and knowledge in teaching agricultural mechanization courses and has also acquired enormous managerial skills being at some points an FSL program manager with International Rescue Committee (IRC), and WASH officer with Mott MacDonald (European Company), and South Sudan Red Cross. And his personal objective is to contribute toward sustainable agriculture and judicious use of water resources for the welfare of the societies.
He has attended so many international seminars and conferences, both at home and abroad. His main areas of research include; Water Resource Management-Irrigation and soil conservation, Remote sensing, and GIS applications in Agriculture, Farm Power, and Machinery.
Samuel Malou was appointed as the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Rumbek University in November 2021 by the order of the Vice Chancellor. He represents and promotes the interests of the College and University which aims at seeking a science-based solutions in agricultural education, food security, poverty and hunger reduction and environmental sustainability for the people of South Sudan, Africa and world at large. He leads initiatives that focus on increasing the quality of education through experiential learning and out-of-the-classroom training, broadening the range of collaborations at the national and international levels, and developing a network of academic partnerships fostering innovation.
